Got To Love East Texas Winters

Although I do envy all of you with Beautiful Snow that I see when I read your blogs, I will have to say I will keep my East Texas Winter we enjoyed a few days of 75 degree weather last week. It has cooled down now the nights dipping under 30 and the days the next two weeks will be in the 40's and 50's...and yes that is to cold for this warm weather girl!

A little VIntage and some Sugar Snap

Just so everyone knows my sewing room is still clean and organized and I am actually enjoying my time sewing!

I have been staying true to my word and using some of the fabric I have here on hand. I love taking a piece of fabric and matching it with other pieces in my closet. I love the fact that I am not wasting what I have on hand and that I can also offer some great deals to my customers.

I will be listing this cute Vintage Pillow Case Swing Top size 3/4 set today also. I was so pleased with the way it turned out. I love the Floral Moda Fabric and the Sweet Pillow case I used is in Pristine condition

I was invited by my Friend Katarina to join in on a launch using Melissa Averinos new line of fabric Sugar Snap. I have to say I LOVE this fabric. It makes me think of Kaleidoscopes and Spiro graphs and I had so much fun Creating with it. her is just a small peek of what I have made for the launch. I can not wait for Miss Abi to model it!!

Something New For Etsy and my Family

I have spent the last week cleaning my sewing room! It seems ages since I really gave it a good cleaning! (No Comments From The Family!) One of my New Year's Resolutions is to keep it organized. Another is to make some really cute "Scrap Sets" since I have found a gold mine of scraps while cleaning and they are now all color coordinated.

Okay first things first. Our Family has been blessed with an unexpected arrival! My niece Joanna has been looking into adopting a baby... well God is so good and December 23rd a sweet gift was born and she was able to bring home the sweet package on Christmas eve. She will be signing adoption papers today so if you read this say a little prayer for her and the sweet mother who knows that this is a wonderful thing for this little Bundle of Joy

A Craft Show, a few days off , A lost set and lots of Listings:)

Well I have official had my first custom set lost in the mail:( It left my house five weeks ago on route to Canada and has yet to show up! Say a little prayer it finds it's way home!

I participated in a Craft Fair last week. I did not have a lot of time to prepare as I was busy finishing up Christmas customs for E-bay. I did do okay and got a few orders and made some really great contacts at the same time! I will have to say our Hostess was a Doll and her Home was beyond gorgeous! We were set up in her Guest bedroom, which is why my sets are displayed on a Bed! Here are a few of the Things I took with me.

Bounce House Fun!

I thought it would be cool to do a Big Guy Version of a Volcano cake. I thought it turned out really cool and it was a huge hit with Andrew and his guest! I will be blogging how I made it tomorrow.

I bought really cool sparklers to add, but my Son-in-Law read the directions and they said for outside use only!!! We did not want to set off the sprinkler system so we had to settle for these wimpy candles!
