I can not believe Easter is so early this year!
I am loving the Spring Weather and all the
beautiful blooms. The Azaleas are blooming and
our Cherry Tree is just beginning to bloom.
I am ready to plant some Spring Flowers!


A Finished Project!

I love a finished project! I fell in
love with this new fabric when I saw it!
it is so bright and cheerful for the Summer!
I listed this OOAK sweet Ladybug set last night
on Ebay.
Peyton was such a sweetie to come by and
model for me! Now if I can just get my customs
finished I can play some more!

Disney Sets

My great neice and nephew are going to
Disney. I just had to share the little cuties in their
sets their Aunt Sharon made them!

Lot's And Lot's of projects

Well I have ton's of customs to finish and several launches coming up! I am excited to be working with the oh so very talented Daphne "serendipity*sweethearts" for the next RNB launch.

My design group theChicks will be having a guest launch in April

I plan on doing several OOAK Beach/Cruise Sets.

I splurged just a little on this Beautiful fabric. The pre ruffled piece will make

adorable bloomers, the other is a gorgeous Moda fabric I fell in love with and had to have

for my "Beach Portrait" set.

What a Weekend!

What a busy weekend we had! It was a gourgeous weekend in East Texas. Our grandkids Kept us busy with all their fun activities! I love being a Mimi!

Nathan left for his his first vacation so I had to make him up a quick pair of Beach bum Shortalls! I am sure I will have some Beach pictures next week!

Saturday we watched 3 Soccer games! I did not have my camera for Abi's game but here are a few shots I took from Andrew's.

Strawberry Lemonade and Splish Splash

Well first of all God is good and I was able to get both of my machines fixed quickly yesterday! I am very blessed to have a shop that know I sew for a living and fix my machines as I wait, even though she has a 3 week back list of machines to fix!

Signs of Spring

Well how was your weekend! Well Al is feeling better and I managed to stay well so I am thankful for that! I did managed to break not only my Sewing Machine but also my serger within 30 minutes of each other Saturday! So I will be heading for the repair shop today! I did manage to get 12 cupcacke goodie bags done for my grandaughter's BD Party though! Mind you they are not perfect but the girls liked them!

So I was out shooting some pictures of my set for theChicks Cute as a Button Launch and I thought I would take a couple of pictures of my trees in bloom for all you gals still dealing with the snow! Now mind you it is not a spectacular show of color but just a hint of God's work to come.

spring it has sectacular bright Red Buds

That fall off and twirl like helicopters I will have to add a

picture when it is in full bloom

Friday February 21

Well the flu bug has hit our house so my hubby is home today and we are all taking tamiflu. I am ready for warm Spring Weather. All the trees are budding out and the Tulip trees are in bloom. I noticed yesterday the Azzela's bushes have buds on them so it seems I do not have to long to wait for warmer weather!
This is my latest project for my Applique Group RNB. I have the Fabrics now I just need to put it all together! Think Hawaiian.

I am finally starting my blog! This is quite an accomplishement for this 48 year old Grandma! Just a bit about me on his first day of blogging! I truly love designing children's clothing but first things first as I said I am a grandma so let me introduce my little sweeties!
