The Wedding Dress Challenge

I have been meaning to post about my wedding Dress Challenge for a while. A Friend of ours asked me a while back if i would take her wedding Dress and turn it into Baptismal sets for her two little ones YIKES!!! To say the least I was very nervous

Here is the wedding dress...not a great shot sorry!

And here are the finished Products, I was very pleased with the end product and aren't these just the cutest Little sweeties ever!

Easter at Mimis House and a few other things!

I hope that Everyone had a Blessed Easter. We had a wonderful Day! We went to the early service for Church and Al and I came home to get dinner ready for the Family. I was in the mood for cooking but had prepared most everything the night before.

I wanted homemade Bread but did not want to get up early so I found this Over night ButterHorn recipe here and I will have to say they were wonderful.

it Rained all day and was quiet cool so no outdoor egg hunt for us but here are some pics from our fun day at mimi and pop's house!

The Big Kids decided it was a perfect day to raid Mimi's sewing Studio. Abi Loves to Design outfits on my Manni and she got Chelsea and Andrew involved. I think I see a new design coming in that Zebra print. I think they show potential!

Chelsea and Andrew decided to make use of the sewing machines! Chelsea does an awesome she whipped up this cute little bag

Andrew is very interested in Sewing Lessons so I hope that Aimee can work it into his school week! He decided on this cool Pillow and Yes that is a tent in my Living room Pop's idea!

It's All About Dancing

I have been super busy with customs and just having fun with my Family...I will share Family pics on my next post. I just finished this adorable Dance set and I was able to have Abi model for me yesterday and as always she did an amazing job for me. For our next project she wants something to match her Bubble Gum Pink Petti Skirt!

Baby and Mom Update

Just a quick update on Mom and baby. baby is AWESOME! mom had a set back with Pulmonary edema, Franklin took her back to the Hospital early monday as she was haing trouble breathing , we made a quick dash to be with them and after getting rid of about 17 pounds of fluid she was able to go home yesterday. She is feeling much better and I was able to do a little Baby Snugling!

BUSY BUSY BUSY!

Well I had intended to add a Blog entry at the beginning of the week, but the cute little fellow below kept me from doing so.I am the proud new Grandma he entered the world a month early but is doing fantastic besides being a little jaundice. Mom gave us a little scare with some high blood pressure. They induced her Tuesday, due to Lewis' heart rate dropping severely low with each contraction they did and emergency c-section. Jessie lost a good bit of blood and they gave her 2 units yesterday. She was able to get up today for the first time and she sounds much improved. Prayers are appreciated.

Introducing Lewis Allen Scott Born march 17th at 3:23 p.m. weighing in at 6'5" and 19" long.

Happy Birthday Abi!

Our sweet Abi turned 7 today!

here she is 7 years ago born at 27 weeks and weighing in at 2'11". God is truly amazing at how he can take such a little bitty package....

Two Months Later this sweet little bundle came home...

And seven years later that little package is now this beautiful person, Thank you God for this beautiful gift that you have given us!

Well I have not been called to Jury duty since my kids were small, not sure how I escaped it for 20 years... I have to appear at the Municipal Court of Records this morning so I am not sure what that entails...
