It's All About Dancing

I have been super busy with customs and just having fun with my Family...I will share Family pics on my next post. I just finished this adorable Dance set and I was able to have Abi model for me yesterday and as always she did an amazing job for me. For our next project she wants something to match her Bubble Gum Pink Petti Skirt!

Baby and Mom Update

Just a quick update on Mom and baby. baby is AWESOME! mom had a set back with Pulmonary edema, Franklin took her back to the Hospital early monday as she was haing trouble breathing , we made a quick dash to be with them and after getting rid of about 17 pounds of fluid she was able to go home yesterday. She is feeling much better and I was able to do a little Baby Snugling!

BUSY BUSY BUSY!

Well I had intended to add a Blog entry at the beginning of the week, but the cute little fellow below kept me from doing so.I am the proud new Grandma he entered the world a month early but is doing fantastic besides being a little jaundice. Mom gave us a little scare with some high blood pressure. They induced her Tuesday, due to Lewis' heart rate dropping severely low with each contraction they did and emergency c-section. Jessie lost a good bit of blood and they gave her 2 units yesterday. She was able to get up today for the first time and she sounds much improved. Prayers are appreciated.

Happy Birthday Abi!

Our sweet Abi turned 7 today!

here she is 7 years ago born at 27 weeks and weighing in at 2'11". God is truly amazing at how he can take such a little bitty package....

Two Months Later this sweet little bundle came home...

And seven years later that little package is now this beautiful person, Thank you God for this beautiful gift that you have given us!

Well I have not been called to Jury duty since my kids were small, not sure how I escaped it for 20 years... I have to appear at the Municipal Court of Records this morning so I am not sure what that entails...

Got To Love East Texas Winters

Although I do envy all of you with Beautiful Snow that I see when I read your blogs, I will have to say I will keep my East Texas Winter we enjoyed a few days of 75 degree weather last week. It has cooled down now the nights dipping under 30 and the days the next two weeks will be in the 40's and 50's...and yes that is to cold for this warm weather girl!

A little VIntage and some Sugar Snap

Just so everyone knows my sewing room is still clean and organized and I am actually enjoying my time sewing!

I have been staying true to my word and using some of the fabric I have here on hand. I love taking a piece of fabric and matching it with other pieces in my closet. I love the fact that I am not wasting what I have on hand and that I can also offer some great deals to my customers.

I will be listing this cute Vintage Pillow Case Swing Top size 3/4 set today also. I was so pleased with the way it turned out. I love the Floral Moda Fabric and the Sweet Pillow case I used is in Pristine condition

I was invited by my Friend Katarina to join in on a launch using Melissa Averinos new line of fabric Sugar Snap. I have to say I LOVE this fabric. It makes me think of Kaleidoscopes and Spiro graphs and I had so much fun Creating with it. her is just a small peek of what I have made for the launch. I can not wait for Miss Abi to model it!!

Something New For Etsy and my Family

I have spent the last week cleaning my sewing room! It seems ages since I really gave it a good cleaning! (No Comments From The Family!) One of my New Year's Resolutions is to keep it organized. Another is to make some really cute "Scrap Sets" since I have found a gold mine of scraps while cleaning and they are now all color coordinated.

Okay first things first. Our Family has been blessed with an unexpected arrival! My niece Joanna has been looking into adopting a baby... well God is so good and December 23rd a sweet gift was born and she was able to bring home the sweet package on Christmas eve. She will be signing adoption papers today so if you read this say a little prayer for her and the sweet mother who knows that this is a wonderful thing for this little Bundle of Joy
